In the 1960s Sussex University was in its infancy. Students still wore shirts and ties, cardigans and duffle coats. But it was also the 'swinging' sixties with the birth of rock 'n' roll and student politics, coupled with highly alcoholic cider at just 7½d a pint! The images here are just a flavour of the exciting environment that the new University had to offer.
